Trijicon RMR Type 2 Red Dot Sight

Revolutionizing the aiming systems since 1981 comes with fascinating innovations. Glyn Bindon, the founder of Trijicon’s concept behind establishing this spectacular aiming systems brand is to let a shooter shoot with both his eyes open in order to capture both the target and background at the same time.

Trijicon RMR Type 2 Red Dot comes in three different sizes, eight light settings out of which six are daylight settings and 2 are for night vision. The lens piece comes with buttons on the edge which help adjust the vision modes and brightness levels. There are also buttons available to switch from automatic to manual mode or the other way round and to switch the optic shut when not in use.

RMR by default stands by in the automatic mode, when switched to the manual version it stays in that mode for 16 and a half hours post which it toggles back to the automatic mode. You also have the feasibility to lock the RMR in the standby automatic mode through the buttons available on the edge of the lens.

Red Dot comes in three different sizes as mentioned earlier and each one varies in the size of the dot, which is discussed in detail below-

Coming in various dot sizes these aiming systems are designed for all ranges of shooting. Trijicon RMR Type 2 comes with aiming systems suitable for both daylights as well as night vision.

Trijicon RMR Type 2 comes with a solar panel attached to the lens which allows the user to use the optic without bothering about the battery charge as the battery charges itself with the solar panel. These optics are designed to withstand any temperature cues from as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit to as high as 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Trijicon is one of the major suppliers of aiming systems to the US Navy and Military which in itself means the user is going to be in various temperatures, altitudes, and tight locations, therefore all the optics are thoroughly tested to see if they are durable enough to last these changes.

Although this comes with a warranty, the warranty would be of no use in the middle of a forest if the lens is dropped from a significant height. Being a pioneer in its field, Trijicon products are built out of exceptional quality material also undergoing a set of immersion tests, drop tests, and vibration tests making their products a reliable option to opt for.
