Louis Tennebaum is one of the foremost leaders in the Aging in Place movement – a combination of services, design, and products to help keep aging folks in their own homes as long and as gracefully as possible. Tennenbaum summarized his ideas at the Silvers Summit, in a panel that looked at how good design principles are being applied to solutions for the elder community. According to a study by Clarity, Aging in Place is very important to 89% of the seniors surveyed. The ability to do so is a concern of 53 percent. Check out more on the Tennebaum’s presenters, which included Clarity, IDEO, and Virtual Health.
